Lend a Hand: Volunteers Needed

The Friends of Rede Common warmly invite new volunteers to help keep our nature reserve beautiful. We meet up every third Saturday of the month and only 2 hours of your time is needed from 10am to midday. There are also refreshments provided afterwards.

We maintain our nature reserve for all to enjoy by trimming overgrown areas along walkways and keeping the space clean through regular litter picking. Nature deserves a chance to thrive alongside us-imagine where would we be without it.

Volunteering at Rede Common would provide numerous benefits such as connecting with nature, health and wellness, community engagement, sense of accomplishment, stress relief, personal growth, making a positive impact or simply just enjoying the refreshments!

Our next work day will be on Saturday 20th July 2024. We meet on the hard standing by the Thurston Drive entrance. We hope to see you there!
