Kerb Your Enthusiasm

The Friends of Rede Common are thrilled to announce that we have received an installation date of the new dropped kerb. This marks the beginning of our efforts to make Rede Common more accessible for everyone, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to admire the beauty of our nature reserve.

We hope that the installation at Rede Common will attract more visitors and foster a more inclusive community. Visiting a nature reserve offers numerous benefits, including physical health, enhanced mental wellbeing, a deeper connection to nature, wildlife observation, fresh air, family-friendly activities, photograph opportunities, recreational activities and increased community and social interaction.

The works will start on Thursday 4th July 2024!
